My prompt is make your own holiday. What would you celebrate and how would you get others to join in on the fun? My holiday would be called “Movie Theater Day “ I would call it this because you get half day off school , and the rest of the day in the movie theater. Each grade level gets together and watches a movie and has popcorn and candy. We would obviously buy the candy on popcorn , not before the school day is over though. Kids would buy it at the movies before the movie starts , they could also bring their own candy. No money would to go towards the school. I only say this because the school would take over and give us bad candy at no candy at all. I know when i go to the movie theater I want to get the real good candy, I do not care if it is bad for me. That is my choice that I am making. People will go along with this holiday because it does not disturb the parents trying to do work and the kids still go to school a little. The kids and students will like it because the can watch a movie with their friends and not have to worry about their parents saying no. There wold be a vote to see what movie most of that grade wants. By doing that the majority of students in that grade will be happy about the movie choice.

I’m back! this week I’m researching colorado. one crazy state law and definitely not needed is: It is unlawful to lend your vacuum cleaner to your next-door neighbor. I think this law is unnecessary because what if I really needed a vacuum and I needed to borrow one from you? i could not use yours because it’s against the law. This law is only for people who live in Denver. Another silly lay is for people who live in Denver also. You may not drive a black car on Sundays. What if you only have one car, but you can not drive it on Sunday because it’s against the law. I guess that you and I are walking to church every Sunday. No one wants to buy another car just so they don’t have to walk some where on a sunday. Some people live many miles away from their destination. Also, you may be traveling and have a black car then get pulled over and get a ticket because it’s against the law. They most likely don’t care too much about it , but it is good to not drive a black car on a sunday.
California
In Long Beach, California, automobiles are the only items allowed to be stowed in the garage. I know for a fact that everyone has something else besides their car in their garage. I can imagine that a lot of people do not follow this rule .This is crazy because a lot of people are probably breaking this rule .
It is illegal for a woman to drive a vehicle in a house coat. My grandma has been to california, and I´m pretty sure she has broken this rule. In the first day of my mom living in california she would break this rule. I think it is silly because why is it put in place. I wonder why they have this law.
Arkansas
This week I am researching arkansas .I have a couple of weird laws people have to follow if they live in Arkansas. One weird ¨law¨ is men are not allowed to ask women to dance in the month on July. I like this rule/ law because I don´t like to dance with anyone besides my friends and my mom. Another weird ¨law¨ is on Fridays you can´t eat cheese unless it is accompanied by a large bottle of beer. This law is probably not necessary , but I would like to know why they have this rule/ law. There is most likely a very funny reason to have this rule, or it is just stupid and not necessary.
Arazona
It is illigal to own more than 4 dogs . I think this is silly because what if you need those dogs? Also,can you own more than 4 in a life time or all at once ? My favorite animal is a dog , so i’m not going to live is Arazona when i’m older. Another silly law is that you can not sing in public when wearing a swim suit. some people like to sing at the pool ,i like t at least.
Alaska
While it’s legal to shoot bears waking up a bear to take a picture is prohibited.I think that is silly but should not be illigal .The bears might hurt the people that wake them up. I think it might be nessary to have it be illgal because they could get hurt , and they could even die if it’s bad enugh. “It’s legal to drive down a one-way street if you have a lantern attached to the front of your automobile.” I think this is silly because what if it’s a one car street and you are driving the right way , then you get in a wreck or you have to go in the grass while the other driver is going past you.If there was a one way street then close by it there might be the other way street.
